3+1-Axis Robotic Box Packing Machine
The 3+1-Axis Robotic Box Packing Machine is a high-speed robotic box packing system designed to pick products from the incoming conveyor and load them into cartons according to the required packing pattern. It is mainly used in automatic packaging lines where lightweight products need to be picked quickly and placed into cartons before carton sealing, checkweighing, labeling, or downstream handling.
Compared with a 2-axis robotic box packing machine, this 3+1-axis model is more suitable for applications that require faster pick-up speed and more flexible product handling. The 3+1-axis structure allows the robot to pick products from the conveyor, transfer them quickly, and place them into cartons with controlled movement. It is especially suitable for lightweight products where speed and stable placement are more important than heavy-load capacity.
The series includes WS-800 and WS-1200. The WS-800 is the faster model, with a pick-up speed of 60–80 pcs/min and a maximum arm span of 800 mm. The WS-1200 provides a longer arm span of 1200 mm, with a pick-up speed of 30–50 pcs/min. Both models have a rated payload of ≤5 kg, making them suitable for lighter products and packaged items.
The machine can support applications such as Dynamic Grab with Fixed Placement and Dynamic Grab with Dynamic Placement. This means it can pick products from a moving or dynamic incoming flow and place them into a fixed carton position or a dynamic placement position, depending on the line layout and packing requirement.
Before requesting a quotation, buyers should provide product size, product weight, product shape, packaging material, incoming conveyor direction, product spacing, carton size, carton loading pattern, required speed, upstream equipment, downstream equipment, and product videos.
Best fit: This machine is best suited for high-speed carton loading of lightweight products, especially when the line requires dynamic product picking and stable placement into cartons.

The machine uses a 3+1-axis robotic structure to pick, transfer, and place products into cartons. This structure provides faster and more flexible movement than basic mechanical loading systems and is suitable for automated box packing lines that require stable product handling at higher speed.
The main advantage of this series is pick-up speed. The WS-800 can reach 60–80 pcs/min, while the WS-1200 can reach 30–50 pcs/min, depending on product characteristics, line layout, end effector design, and placement pattern.
The machine supports Dynamic Grab with Fixed Placement and Dynamic Grab with Dynamic Placement applications.
The machine picks products from the incoming conveyor and loads them into cartons according to the required carton packing format. Products can be placed one by one, in rows, in groups, or according to a customized loading pattern.
The 3+1-axis robotic box packing machine can connect with upstream flow wrapping machines, bagging machines, pouch packing machines, product sorting systems, counting systems, or conveyors.
This section can show the 3+1-axis robotic box packing machine picking products from the conveyor and loading them into cartons.
Through the video, buyers should check how products arrive from the upstream conveyor, how the robot picks each product, how quickly the product is transferred, and whether the placement inside the carton remains accurate at high speed.
For this machine, the key viewing point is pick-up speed and placement stability. Buyers should observe whether the robot can maintain consistent picking and loading when products arrive continuously.
If the application uses dynamic grab, the video should show how the robot picks products from the moving flow and places them into cartons without missing, collision, or unstable placement.
The video should also show carton positioning, product arrangement inside the carton, downstream carton transfer, and whether the loaded carton can move smoothly to sealing or checking equipment.

The 3+1-axis robotic box packing machine can be used as the high-speed product-to-carton loading unit in automatic packaging lines. Its role is to receive products from upstream equipment, pick products from the conveyor, and load them into cartons according to the required packing pattern.
Flow Wrapping Line + 3+1-Axis Robotic Box Packing
A typical line can be configured as:
Flow wrapping machine → Product conveyor → 3+1-axis robotic box packing machine → Case sealer → Checkweigher / Labeler → Palletizing robot
This solution is suitable when pillow-packed or wrapped products need to be loaded into cartons at higher speed after flow wrapping.
The robot can pick products from the conveyor and place them into cartons according to the required carton loading format.
Bagging Line + High-Speed Robotic Carton Loading
A typical line can be configured as:
Bagging machine → Product conveyor → 3+1-axis robotic box packing machine → Carton sealing → Palletizing
This solution can be used for suitable lightweight bags or pouches when product shape, weight, surface condition, and gripping method are confirmed.
For soft bags, the end effector should be tested to avoid deformation during high-speed picking.
Product Sorting + Robotic Box Packing
A typical line can be configured as:
Product sorting / arranging system → 3+1-axis robotic picking → Carton loading → Carton sealing
This solution is suitable when products are sorted, counted, or arranged before carton loading. The robot completes fast picking and carton loading according to the required product pattern.
Dynamic Grab + Carton Loading
A typical line can be configured as:
Incoming conveyor → Dynamic product picking → Fixed or dynamic carton placement → Carton sealing
This solution is suitable when products need to be picked from a moving product flow and placed into cartons without stopping the line completely.
Soontrue Group can configure the full line according to product type, carton size, loading pattern, target speed, upstream equipment, downstream sealing method, and factory layout.
It is used to pick products from the conveyor and load them into cartons automatically. It is mainly used for high-speed product-to-carton loading before carton sealing or downstream handling.
The 3+1-axis model is more suitable for higher-speed lightweight product handling and dynamic grab applications. The 2-axis model is more suitable for applications where the main requirement is direct pick-and-place transfer with different work distance and payload options.
Both WS-800 and WS-1200 have a rated payload of ≤5 kg. Actual performance also depends on product shape, end effector weight, gripping method, and motion path.
It means the robot can pick products from a moving or dynamic incoming flow and place them into a fixed carton loading position.
It means both the picking and placement process can be coordinated with moving or changing positions, depending on the line layout and control configuration.
Yes. It can be installed after a flow wrapping machine to pick wrapped products from the conveyor and load them into cartons.
Yes. It can connect with a bagging machine or pouch packing line, depending on product type, package shape, and picking method.
